Single notes
Pitch and register, one note at a time.
The app
Tinxie turns music dictation into short, deliberate practice. Listen to a phrase, write what you hear, and check it against the score — without ads, feeds, or a complicated setup.
In development for Android and iPhone/iPad. Planned as a one-time purchase; no subscription.
Practice types
Each type can be practised on its own. Difficulty, range, and playback are controlled in the app, so a session can stay short enough to repeat.
Pitch and register, one note at a time.
Three- and five-note groups, held in memory and written down.
Two notes together; identify the distance between them.
Chord quality and structure by ear.
Pulse, pattern, and notation; choose or write the rhythm.
Pitch and rhythm together, in a phrase you can remember.
How a session works
Privacy by design
Tinxie does not include advertising SDKs or behavioural tracking. Microphone input, where available, is processed on the device and is not uploaded. Photos and handwritten notes are stored locally.
